Parted

- a poem; when two persons part, memories are what left behind

Your arrival was like a whisper
And you vanished like a storm,
Leaving behind your calm.
Yet I blame you for none.

Your enclosure once held me up high to stars.
accordingly, I fall.
Devastated.

But it's your indoctrination
That built me anew -
From an individual to an identity.
It's your touch that had brought
Rain to my drought making it ever prolific.

The joys once you gifted
This heart will treasure those amorously.
And, a dint of smile will dwell on lips
When memories - sweet and bitter - will solace
In hide-and-seek.

Unrequited Love
each has one, unspoken, well-hidden
